Arkiva currently employs a 128 bit encryption key algorithm for consumer side access to the Arkiva portal. This level of encryption is one of the highest forms available in the consumer marketplace. Arkiva's level of protection for access to the Arkiva.com portal is the same as most retail banks and brokerage houses use for their client-based transactions.
Arkiva has also earned the Secure Site Checkmark by VeriSign (SSL).
Arkiva uses a dual secure server process to store all client information. These servers are protected with identical encryption technology as the User Login program.
Arkiva houses its servers in two separate and secure locations. One is located in the Northeast and the other in the Midwest. Physical access to such sites is restricted and only such prescreened employees with appropriate clearance may enter. The remote access is again protected with a 16 character, alpha numeric code with 128 bit encryption. The server storage facility employees have the ability to access the servers only in emergency situations or for maintenance.
Arkiva's processing facility uses state-of-the-art security measures to ensure customer physical media and digital data is protected appropriately. Video surveillance, access control, and security alarms are employed within the facility. Customer media is placed in locked storage while in Arkiva's possession up until the time it is shipped back to the customer along with new media.
